This coast covers 17 villages located in the northwest of Spain, in A Coruña. Besides being a land of legends, for long thought to be the known end of the world, Finisterre is nowadays, for many pilgrims, the end of the Camino de Santiago. Its landscape is characterized by its spectacular cliffs, lighthouses, fishing ports and fishing villages with stone houses. A good example is Malpica de Bergantiños , a fishing village with houses hanging over the rocks and a fish market.
Among the most notable beaches is the Laxe beach. The seafood, especially mussels and barnacles with Albariño are another good reason to visit the area.
