The Aspromonte National Park is a protected area that is located within the province of Reggio Calabria and the name is related to the Aspromonte massif, well known for its difficult terrain and the hardly cultivable lands. Walking along the paths through the park, you can admire the characteristic wild nature: waterfalls, narrow valleys, rocky areas and vast ancient forests. Within the park there are also small villages and archaeological remains that show the ancient history of these places.
