Semi-detached house with swimming pool and splendid garden, just a few steps from the center of Marinella di Selinunte. The apartment includes a large living room with sofa bed and TV, a kitchen with pool view, two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.

Setting

In Marinella di Selinunte the holiday home with swimming pool is located in a private road about 500 meters from the sea and the Selinunte Archaeological Park.

About 200 meters from the house there is a supermarket, bar and restaurant, about 300 meters there are the newsstand and the church, and about 500 meters there is a pharmacy.

The Selinunte Archaeological Park – History, Ruins and Monuments

Selinunte, the largest Archaeological Park in the Greek world, is located in Western Sicily and was an important Greek city of Magna Graecia. With an extension of approximately 270 hectares, the park is divided into three areas: The Eastern Hill, The Acropolis and The Sanctuary of Malaphoros. The city was born in the 7th century BC. and, after a series of vicissitudes with colonists and conflicts with Carthage, it was destroyed by the Carthaginians in 409 BC. Today, the ruins of Punic and Greek temples and structures can be explored in the Archaeological Park.



The Belice Nature Reserve – Enchanting Landscapes and Environmental Conservation

The Belice Nature Reserve, established in 1984, offers an extraordinary extension of approximately 270 hectares between Marinella di Selinunte and Porto Palo.

The reserve is divided into zone A (reserve) and zone B (pre-reserve) and extends along the coast for approximately 5 kilometres. Its creation aims to preserve the dune formations, flora and fauna of the sandy environments.

A unique element is represented by the Belice river, which flows into the sea in the reserve, creating a suggestive landscape and contributing to the conservation of unique habitats.
