The house is located a stone's throw from bars, restaurants and
a supermarket. Gran Playa beach is 250 meters away.
In principle, you do not need a car because everything (supermarkets, bars, restaurants, harbor, old center, etc..) is within walking distance.

Santa Pola is located near the metropolis of Alicante, is less known to tourists than the other major cities on the Costa Blanca, but has exactly the same to offer. The
town has some great beaches, a medieval castle in the center, and one of the best boulevards on the Costa Blanca.
Santa Pola is 12 km away from the airport and has 11 km of coastline and a beautiful harbour.

Castillo Fortaleza de Santa Pola
In the middle of Santa Pola is the Castillo Fortaleza de Santa Pola. This castle was built in 1554 as part of a plan to defend the coast of the Kingdom of Valencia. The castle was built in
renaissance military style and was home to 33 military personnel and their families.

The Castillo Fortaleza has been impenetrable for hundreds of years, but now you just walk in through the front door. Entrance is free and where the soldiers used to live, you will now find several museums.
