The accommodation
Situated at the "Golden Mile" of the "Urba,"
Playa Serena Sur has become the most wanted area of Roquetas, with ample avenues surrounding the golf makes this area at the border of the National Park a unique spot.
The property is a semi detached penthouse with private solarium, located just opposite to the entrance of Punta Entinas Natural Park with breath taking views over the park's lake, golf, mountains and sea. Not to say the sunsets over the lake with Sierra Nevada at the back.
It is part of a high security gated community named Oasis of Playa Serena see , with parking in front of the penthouse comprising only 69 units.
The penthouse itself has privileged features:
Ample size of 58m2 for 1 bedroom with 3 terraces (lounge, bedroom and solarium) totaling 78 m2.
Unique location and views, surrounded by the Lake, Natural Park and Golf. Modern construction materials, plenty of light but fresh inside. Excellent layout with independent entrance and semi detached, you do not hear your neighbours. Ample gardens and huge pool, it´s never crowded not even in high peak season.
The pool is maintained suitable for use all year round.
If you are planning for a longer stay in winter you can "pick the right days" for skiing. Being 90 mintes drive (door to door) of Sierra Nevada Ski resort it's ideal to have the best of both worlds, mountain and beach.As I always say it's 5 minutes to the beach and 90 mintes from skiing.
Setting
At the entrance of the Natural Park, beach limits for Dressed or Nude bathing, surrounded by the lagoon and the golf course. Both "Textile Beach" (Blue Flag) and Natural Park Beach (Nude and pets allowed) are a 10 minute walk or 2 minutes by car.
You can leave your car in the parking lot of the textile beach or right by the sea in the Natural Park. Highly recommended are the walks and bicycle circulation in the Natural Park and the promenade.
Ideal for walking your pet in the natural park (just across the street) or take it to the natural Park beach!!

lovely apartment
The apartment is in a good location, the roof terrace has great views, the apartment was clean and tidy. we would recommend this to anyone, this was an enjoyable holiday.
Lovely Penthouse
Dear Gus, Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed your delightful apartment or ‘Penthouse ‘ as would be more appropriate. The views from the roof terrace a quite magnificent and we were amazed that one can see the Sierra Nevada from the roof. We could have spent many hours up on the roof terrace watching the wild life on the lakes which it overlooks had it not been for the lovely weather that the area enjoys. We did however explore the natural ‘Parque’ which is just across the road and found the wild fowl on the secluded ponds there! The whole area is a delight to get away from the busy life we spend at home. Having a car was a good idea as we were able to drive (many times) to the fantastic shopping centre Gran Plaza with so much parking underneath which we would only wish we had in England, and free of course. We ate some of the time on your lower terrace when we wanted to escape from the sun which was very convenient. We thought your apartment has an ideal layout for a couple but you could even have a ‘put-you-up’ in the lounge instead of your comfortable sofa! Just a thought as there is plenty of room particularly as most of the time is spent round the fantastic pool and garden. We did not however succumb to Golf which is on your doorstep! Many thanks again, we found the whole area unspoilt and will surely be visiting again. Regards Derek and Jackie
