The accommodation
Completely renovated apartment with 3 bedrooms 2 of which are available for guests. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and another one has a double bed and a single bed (total of 5 guests). Open kitchen with new modern appliances including electric water heater, washing machine, stove with oven and refrigerator/freezer. The kitchen has a window allowing fresh air to circulate in addition to a fan above the stove. Large living/dining room with two comfortable sofas, a new 55 inches smart TV, and dining table for 6 guests. One powerful air conditioner/heater was installed. In summer, just leaving the windows open is sufficient for a very enjoyable temperature, and in winter closing the windows will keep the temperature if one does not want to use the Split System air conditioner.
Setting
Located in Almunecar, 80 km east of Malaga airport. Bus service is available from the airport and from Malaga town center. Granada airport is also the same distance as bus services to Almunecar.
Almunecar is on Costa Tropical which is known for its most moderate climate with the highest number of sunny days within the Spanish coast. Temperature ranges between 12 to 28 Celsius.
The apartment has a splendid view of the Mediterranean and surrounding mountains from the large balcony where one can just sit and watch the sea waves from above only 200 meters away.
Activities and attractions
Beach - The apartment is away from the crowded part of Almunecar but is next to a secluded (almost private) beautiful beach with many activities such as snorkeling, jet-skiing, boating, and many other water sports.
Restaurants & Cafe: Many great beachside restaurants and coffee bars are available nearby and you are only 20 minutes’ walk from the town center.
Hiking - From hiking by the beach right out front and taking the car 20 mins to Sierra Nevada mountain for a beautiful trail, the are offers plenty of choices.
Water park: An awsome aquatropic Water Park is 15 mins walk
Shopping: Small supermarkets within 5 minutes’ walk. Large supermarket about 40 minutes’ walk (5 minutes’ drive). Nevada shopping mall (one of the most modern and largest in Spain) in Granada is 75 km away.
