The accommodation

Country house with a green and animal oriented thinking. Immersed in the green of the Venetian countryside and is located in a strategic area, a few km from Venice and Treviso. Surrounded by poplar woods and an ancient wood, called the
the “hermit's wood” where legend wants that a farmer lived on his income and with his animals in great spiritual retreat. The house offers a bright independent open space apartment of 70 square meters, for 2/4 people, with double bedroom, bathroom with shower, large living room with two French sofa beds for 1/2 guests and a kitchenette. From the large window of the living room you can enjoy a relaxing view of the park of the house where the Prealps can be seen on the horizon. At guests' disposal a large green area where corners have been created to relax in nature and where you can enjoy an aperitif with beautiful sunsets or under a starry sky, the area has very low light pollution. The guests of June, in the evening will be delighted by the presence of fireflies, which still exist here to make your evenings magical.
Your pets can share greenery and accommodation with you!).

Setting

The apartment is located in a very strategic area, close the quite green area of the Sile Natural Park but very comfortable to reach any important city of the zone such as Venice, easily reachable in 25 minutes by train from the railwaystation of Quarto D'Altino, or the lively Treviso. In the area to be visited there is also the village of Roncade with its beautiful castle and the Archeological Museum of Altino with its Roman site.
Another very untourist and amazing way to visit Venice and its islands is by boat from Altino; from here there is a a private boat service which takes you by river to the northern lagoon to Torcello and Burano island. On request also to Venice.

Activities and attractions

The apartment is 2 kms from the Sile Natural Park, where you can enjoy a unique landscape.
Here you can practise sports such as running, walking, bike and horse-trekking.
Of course, culture is not lacking! The apartment is 20 km from Venice, easily reachable in 25 minutes by train from Quarto d Altino railwaystation or 25 minutes by car. In the area to be visited there is also the village of Roncade with its beautiful castle or lively city of Treviso. Two kilometers away from the house there is the Roman site of the city of Altino (Altinum), with its beautiful archaeological museum.
