The accommodation

Just South of Siena, The Val d’Orcia is UNESCO World Heritage. Its enchanting towns and villages like Montalcino and Pienza are surrounded by a sea of vines and olives whose slopes intermittently give way to deep forest of pines, chestnuts and oaks, cool and refreshing. And amongst these strikingly beautiful bluish-green hills lies Casa Eleonora, a large traditionally furnished country house with nice views. The house is composed of 3 apartments with independent entrances in the main building and 2 cottages, but it is rented as private villa for 3/4 families and couples or group of friends. The fixtures and fittings are of good standard and the furnishing are tasteful. To one side of the property is a swimming pool which also provides an excellent panorama. In the area there are also some very well known spas like Bagni Vignoni, Chianciano, Bagni San Filippo and The Monte Amiata where it is possible to make trekking and jogging among the forests.
