House for 2-6 people only 1040 meters from the beach

We had a very comfortable stay during the end of October. The house is very small but makes excellent use of space, and we didn't feel cramped with our two children (aged 5 and 2). The location is great - super views of the hills, with south-facing balcony and terrace, and very easy to reach from the motorway, yet tucked away up the hillside from the road, so always quiet. The beach is very easily accessible, clean and atmospheric, and the dinosaur footprints were an added bonus! The dinosaur museum, also within easy reach, went down well with the kids too. This delightful cottage has outstanding views across the Sueve mountains and the valley in which Colunga nestles. It is comfortable and well provided with everthing you need. Half way between the beach and the town (3 small supermarkets, 2 butchers, 2 fishmongers, 2 bakers, 3 ironmongers, 1 bookshop, 1 woolshop, several bars and a market on thursday). The beach is one of the best in Asturias. It is unspoilt, caters for all ages with safe swimming for smalls, rocks for exploring and clean sand for sunbathing, and wonderful views. the house up the side of the valley so the walk to the beach is quicker than the walk back but the road wonder through orchards and gives wonderful views. This house is ideal for both beach and exploring the wonders of Asturias as it is close to the A8 motorway. The owner has refurbished the house so everything was in great order and fresh and bright.
