The accommodation
This restored country house with exquisite taste is located in Ventalló amidst a privileged setting. Only 7 minutes away from the beaches, 15 minutes from Figueres and the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà. You will feel in a paradise surrounded by its large garden in the shade of the grape vines that border the pool. The stone interior walls, along with the wood that is present throughout the house, give it a rustic touch with a unique warmth.
On the ground floor there is a large living room, equipped with TV with satellite antenna and fireplace with a large window with views of the garden, a large room in the form of a vault presided by a table for dining, a fully equipped kitchen, the games room with billiards with an outdoor access and a bathroom. The whole house has free Wi-Fi, heating and air conditioning.
The house has a total of 6 rooms. Two of them are accessed from the outside, which offers more privacy in them. The rest of the rooms are on the second floor. All have a double bed – except one with 2 beds – , bathroom with shower, satellite TV, heating and air conditioning. In the master suite there is also a bathtub.
The garden is an oasis of peace in the middle of this small village. You will find a large esplanade of grass with two football goals and a centennial fig tree that houses a wooden house for children. Above you will see the pool area with sun loungers in the shade of the vineyards and at the entrance you will find the barbecue with a large outdoor table. A true paradise where you can enjoy the tranquility of this privileged environment.

Super Family Holiday home
My family, 9 adults and 6 children under 10, stayed at la blauet in early august. We had a great time using the house as a base from which to explore costa brava. The house exceeded our expectations, the bedrooms ( all with en -suite) are very large and have good sized beds. The air con was very effective in maintaining the whole house at a comfortable temperature. The family spent hours in the pool and gardens which readily accessible from the house, the pool and gardens enjoy all day sunshine. The kitchen is ok, the small size is compensated for by the large dining area next to it. The location gives easy access to several beeches, it is in a very quiet spot with little to no road noise. One criticism is that we felt that there needed to be a better patio area near the pool for evening socialising in the late sun however this does not detract from our view that la blauet is a splendid place for a family holiday.
