The accommodation

This light and airy Casita Pimenta has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & a spacious open-plan sitting, kitchen & dining area at the heart of the property - ideal for an individual family or group of 6 persons including all children (maximum 4 adults). At one end of the Casita, the double bedroom has a queen bed & an en-suite shower room, while at the other end the 2 twin bedrooms (the largest can become a king double) share a family bathroom.

The centre of the Casita is a large open-plan living area, perfect for families and friends to eat and socialise together. The well-stocked fully fitted kitchen/dining area has granite worktops, gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and a large fridge/freezer - with a wooden farmhouse dining table comfortably seating six. For relaxing, there are two comfy sofas and a pouffe, WiFi, radio/CD, iPod docking station, UK/European (freeview) satellite TV & DVD, selection of board games, books and toy box for younger children - with a woodburner for the cooler nights between mid November to late March. An arrival shopping service & childminding are available too!

Two pairs of patio doors open onto a large West-facing natural stone patio with two sunbeds for relaxing and two round wrought iron chairs to curl up with a book - while a wooden table and six chairs sit under a tree trunk pergola shaded by climbers,perfect for a lazy breakfast or al fresco dining with the charcoal bbq. The private garden area wraps around three sides with lemon trees and colourful bouganvilla offering scent and colour year round - with a wooden swing seat is tucked under the pepper trees for a shady soothing retreat.

El Sueño finca is a relaxed & mellow retreat in a peaceful rural location, the antithesis to a managed holiday resort - where adults can sit back and relax in their own private space, while children run free to explore and meet new friends in several acres of gardens. Tucked within organic laid-back grounds including a large Bees & Butterfly Herb Garden, Citrus Walk and a lake in the water meadows, there are just five country houses full of character sleeping one to eight persons - offering guests a choice of individual accommodation for couples, families and friends, as well as larger groups. The four 1, 2 & 3 bedroom Casitas (cottages) are named after the closest of the trees that surround them, each have their own private shaded patio & garden, sharing a swimming pool safely fenced for little ones & two play areas for children set in the central gardens. One bed Casita Almendra is perfect for just 1 or 2 persons, two bedroom Mimosa Casita is also adapted for those with mobility/wheelchair requirements, while both three bedroom Casitas Alcornoque and Pimienta are also popular for families & friends. The spacious and peaceful Cortijo del Sueño (original farmhouse with Moorish origins) with four en-suite bedrooms has its own private swimming pool, so perfect for families and friends to share or a base for larger groups.
