The accommodation

The Chalet Simon is equipped for 4 persons and is located at the end of a small private-street ideal to enjoying the tranquility of the adjacent and protected natural park. By the garde door you have access to the property where you can park your vehicle. Pets can move freely and safely in the fully fenced plot. On the spacious porch you can enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine, surprise the family with a barbecue or easily supervise the children in the private-pool. Once you enter into the house you are in the living-dining area, which is equipped with air conditioning, whose use is optional and not included in the rental price. The adjacent open kitchen is equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils, crockery, microwave and dishes-washer. The hallway leads to a toielt, a toilet with shower and two bedrooms - one with a double bed and built-in wardrobe and the other one with 2 single beds. The washing machine is located in the storeroom next to house. All windows are fitted with fly screens and grilles.

Setting

The Urbanization Riumar consists of some 1000 mostly ground floor houses. As the name implies this small residential paradise is situated between the mouth of the river (=Riu) Ebro and the Mediterranean Sea (=Mar) in the Natural Park of Delta del Ebro .

With over 16Km wild beaches of fine sand and shallow water it is a beloved destination for families with children and nature lovers- in general anyone who wants to get away from stress and daily routine and to spend a vacation in contact with nature in the heart of a Natural Park.

Activities and attractions

Sport game fishing: The Ebro Delta has an extraordinary wealth and a large variety of fishes in the sea and also in the river. For this reason, it´s a well-known and popular destination of anglers from all over Europe.

Reason enough to offer the fishermen a wide range of services so they really get their enjoyment and can spend unforgettable drills. Even non-anglers can try this sport booking a fishing trip with a guide, or if you prefer something quieter, just rent a small boat and spend a pleasant day with the family and discover the different perspective of flora and fauna from the water.

Ornithology: The Ebro Delta area, far from mass tourism and declared as Natural Park in 1983 and as Biosphere Reserve since 2013, has a great diversity with over 360 birds. Some of them nest in this region. Therefore the friends of Ornithology find here a variety of activities to enjoy watching birds.
Photography: The rice fields, the sand dunes, beaches, The Ebro river .... these and many other motives, which are located between Deltebre and Riumar have already inspired countless photographers, painters and film directors. This section of the landscape is muse of all camera lenses that touch the Ebro Delta.

Sports: The Ebro delta, with an area of 320km², and almost flat terrain offers formally to discover this region about its published bicycle and hiking trails. You can also perform activities at the beach, Such as Kayak, Paddle Surf ... .

The more than 30 km long, navigable river mouth of the Ebro is ideal for water sports such as water skiing or wakeboarding. The prevailing winter winds and the easy access to beach and sea are the regular destination for all kinds of surfers and their admirers.
