Cozy flat in the Alps is a vacation rental in Pontebba, a quiet village surrounded by the Julian and Carnic Alps, also ancient border between the Austro-Hungarian Empire and Italy. It is easily accessible by train and by car.

Activities and attractions

The location, at the crossroads between Italy, Austria and Slovenia, is perfect to explore hidden corners of the north-eastern part of the Italian Alps, to immerse themselves in historical places, as well as to learn about Austrian and Slovene cuisine and traditions. The ski slopes of the Nassfeld ski arena in Austria are just 13 km away. In addition to that, Italian ski slopes in Tarvisio and Sella Nevea are also available. Cross country skiing opportunities in the nearby Val Aupa (3 km). The ice stadium in at walking distance for ice skating and watching matches and training of the local hockey teams. In summer several scenic routes for trekking start from Pontebba, which is also at the heart of the Alpe Adria cycling path connecting Austria and Slovenia with Friuli region in Italy.
