The accommodation

Accommodation consisting of:
- 1 bedroom with double bed and TV
- 1 room in the dome with double bed and single bed (bunk bed)
- 2 living rooms, both with a double sofa bed
- equipped kitchenette
- 1 WC with hydromassage column
- wind protected terrace
- grill
- washing machine

The windmill does not have WiFi Internet, but there is a free WiFi hot-spot 300 meters away, near the coffee shops and the beach of São Mateus.

Setting

The windmill "Mó da Praia" is located in a paradisiacal location, in front of Ilhéu da Praia, 300 meters from the only sandy beach at Graciosa Island, at the foot of the "Caldera" where "Furna do Enxofre" is located.

“Mó da Praia” was one of the last windmills to grind cereals on the island, until the death of Manuel Frutuoso Moniz (its former owner), on 18 February 2002.

The windmill recovery project began in 2009 with the aim of preserving its characteristics as much as possible. Some parts and utensils used in the milling activity were also recovered, for future memory.
