The accommodation

The Villa is a charming holiday home in Reggio Calabria, with a pool, private parking and a large park of 6000 square meters, perfect for your beach holiday with your animal friends.An ideal place for small groups who appreciate privacy and nature.

It’s a little paradise, nestled in the middle of the Messina Strait, surrounded by more than 10,000 square meters of a private inclosed gated area. Its very discreet, and equipped to enjoy the magic of the Mediterranean climate with ultimate privacy. We have a pool and exclusive dining area outside, with gazebo, hammocks, ping pong, palms and fruit trees, trampoline, ample parking, wi-fi also outside, you may bring animals. We have the ability to accommodate groups up to 10 people.

- The Main Dwelling

The Main Dwelling is a Farmhouse from the early '900 recently renovated, air-conditioned wooden roof with exposed beams. It consists of a spacious lounge with dining room and a 45 inch TV. A kitchen, and a comfortable and convenient laundry room with washing machine, and 3 double bedrooms, all three with a private bath.
Outside, a large patio with couches, hammocks and dining table with a private barbecue and stunning views of the gardens and the Straits of Messina.

- The Cottage

Completely surrounded by greenery, with two single rooms, with the possibility to convert to 2 small double rooms, and a stylish shared bathroom with shower. Within a few steps cobblestone driveway takes you to the private pool area with a stylish outside kitchen and gazebo.

- The pool

The pool area is complete with a built-in gazebo, kitchen, sink, barbecue, dining table and hi-fi. (The outside bathroom will be done in May).

Setting

The Villa is located on the new seafront Catona, beach, and just across the road there is a bike path.Across the road is a small beach that is "Animal Friendly" where you can bring your dogs to swim.

The waterfront is full of restaurants and clubs, supermarkets, post office, and a nearby ATM.

Getting here is very easy and convenient: you exit at Catona Arghillà.
You can also go and visit Reggio Calabria, 6 km from here, with its famous bronzes, and walk on the promenade, and enjoy the nightlife! From here its 3 Km Villa San Giovanni that have ferries to Sicily and the railway junction.

Activities and attractions

We are also less than thirty kilometers from Gambarie d'Aspromonte, where you can ski in the winter and throughout the year you can celebrate the renowned local gastronomy, or do trekking, with a view that dominates and gazes across the Strait, from the Aeolian Islands to the majestic volcano Etna.
