The accommodation

We are offering a beautiful fully furnished attached home with modern decor and high quality stainless steel appliances. The master bedroom has a double bed (150 cm) and full bathroom, the second bedroom has two single beds (90 cm) and the children's bedroom has a bunk bed with two 90 cm mattresses. The house is equipped with two half bathrooms and two full bathrooms and a private garage. We also offer a quaint first floor apartment with fully equipped kitchen, half bathroom, fireplace and private entrance leading directly to a private garden with a barbeque grill and lawn furniture where you can relax and enjoy your stay.

Setting

LOCATION:
The house is located in a neighborhood just outside of the town of Viana in La Rioja. It is a beautiful area surrounded by green spaces, gardens, walking paths, mountain views and playgrounds. There is easy access to parking areas and the house is only 50 meters from the Príncipes de Viana sports club where you can enjoy an outdoor water park complete with slides, waterfalls, outdoor jacuzzis and swimming pools for both adults and children. During the winter months you can use their fabulous spa and jacuzzi area which offers saunas, Turkish baths, footbaths, a heated indoor swimming pool, a cold plunge pool, a gym, padel courts, a rock climbing wall and much more. The house is only 5 minutes from Logroño, the capital city of La Rioja, which boasts a charming old town and delicious pintxos (traditional Spanish snacks) on Laurel Street (calle Laurel). If you are a wine lover, the house is close to the renowned Marques de Riscal winery located in the town of El Ciego. Other famous wineries, such as López Heredia, Muga, Cune, Ramón Bilbao can all be found in the town of Haro in a region called La Rioja Alavesa. The village of Laguardia, famous for its historic old town, sculptures, wine and cuisine is another highlight in the area that can't be missed. You can also cross the border into the Autonomous Community of Navarre to visit the racetrack at Los Arcos, only a 10 minute car ride from the town of Viana. This and so much more is available to you when you stay in our excellently located accommodation.

IN LA RIOJA:
Foraging for Mushrooms
In the municipality of Villoslada de Cameros you can enter the vast pine forests to look for the Boletus mushroom, coveted for its intense aroma and excellent flavor.
Wine Route - Visit the most important wineries in this world famous wine making region:
Marques de Riscal: Located in the town of El Ciego, only a 5 minute drive from the beautiful village of Laguardia. 10 Euros buys you a guided tour of the old and new winery and a wine tasting of all the different flavors that Marques de Riscal has to offer. Of course, many people simply choose to visit because the winery was designed by the famous Frank Gehry, the architect behind Bilbao's Guggenheim museum.
Vivanco Wine Museum: Located in Briones, in the Rioja Alavesa region. Come and discover the origins of wine and let the museum take you back to the beginning of wine making in the region.
Muga Winery and Cune Winery: Located in the town of Haro, a world renowned winery town and a must see during your time in La Rioja.
DINOPOLIS en the town of Enciso:
Come and discover the El Barranco Perdido dinosaur adventure park in the town of Enciso. Your little ones can enjoy a variety of activities that will make them feel like real archaeologists as they search for footprints from ancient giants.
IN NAVARRE:
Horseback rides and kayaking on the Ebro river:
The town and municipality of Mendavia, Navarre is only a 10 minute car ride from the town of Viana. Enjoy horseback riding along the Ebro river followed up by a kayaking trip.
Los Arcos Racetrack:
For all of you speed demons out there, the Los Arcos racetrack holds exhibitions and races throughout the racing season.
Olite Castle:
Come and discover one of the most beautiful and well maintained castles from the XIII and XIV century. Walk through the stone walls and let the past come to life in the traditional residence of Navarre's kings.
Urbasa and Andia Natural Park:
Walk through the Urbasa and Andia Natural Park where you can find the famous Nacedero del Urederra (the source of the Urederra river), the cliffs of the Balcon de Pilatos, and the Santa Marina hermitage. These are only some of the many examples of wild beauty that can be found in the park.
