House with 2 bedrooms only 400 meters from the beach

La casita es muy acogedora, diseñada con gusto en estilo rural, con un patio donde hemos disfrutado los desayunos y las comidas casi todos los días al sol. El sitio esta cerca de todo lo que necesitas en una noche de primavera o de verano. Se presta para el descanso y la lectura lejos del ruido, con fácil acceso a la playa. Volveremos pronto!

This is the second time we have travelled to Spain and 2nd time staying at casa atrapasueños. Flying into Gibraltar it is a straight forward drive to Los Canos, and the property is easy enough to find in the quiet gated location next to the national park. The property is ideal for a chill out holiday with a lovely garden to have a bbq or sunbathe and only a stones throw from the fabulous beach. Inside is everything you need. 2 double sized bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and cosy living room with a log burner if you decide to go in the winter. We enjoyed being so close to some other fantastic locations which are a very short journey. Conil has another glorious beach and some amazing bars and restaurants as well as some bargains to be had on the promenade market. Barbate is just over the hill if you wish to do a big grocery shop however there are several smaller supermarkets in Los Canos. Other superb places to visit whilst staying here are historic Cadiz, wind surfing Capitol Tarifa, Vejer stunning hill side town and Bolonia with its sand dunes on the sea and roman ruins to visit. Driving around was so simple. The roads were lovely and quiet and well sign posted. If you wish to see some real Spain, have a relaxing holiday within walking distance of beaches, restaurants and views from the wonderful national park then this place is a must. We didn't want to come home.

This is the second time we have holidayed in this area and on both occasions we have stayed in casa atrapasueños which is as described. It is very clean and comfortable and would suit anyone that is looking for either a chill out sitting in the garden, walking in the natural park, lying on the beach type holiday or travelling around the area exploring its history & culture or a bit of both which is what we did. We would recommend a day trip to Bolonia (40 - 50 mins drive) where you can combine a couple of hours or so walking around the ancient Roman ruins of Baelo Claudia (free entry if you show your European passport), which were truly amazing, along with an afternoon on the beautiful beach. 40 to 50 mins drive in the other direction is the city of Cadiz which is a fascinating place. There are four walking routes which enable you to explore this interesting city, depending on what you are interested in seeing. These routes are marked by different colored lines painted on the ground for you to follow which we thought was a brilliant Idea. However you will need more than a day here to get the most from this visit. Although you won't find much English spoken in los caños and the local area all the people we came across were very friendly and helpful. We eat out a lot as we found the food of excellent quality, very reasonable priced and the service was always very good. We will definitely be returning as there is still more we want to see and do.
