The accommodation

House São Bernardo is a two storey building situated in an area of 5000 meters, at 80 meters above the sea, an area of privilege, the rural environment, quiet and peaceful with panoramic views over the city Alcobaça and Sierra D’Aire e Candeeiros.

House São Bernardo is located 400 meters from the historic center and the Monastery of Alcobaça (World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal). The House has parking and to visit the center of the city does not need a car.

Setting

In addition to enjoying nature where the House São Bernardo is located, it is also the starting point for exploring the area on foot - the Monastery of Alcobaça, founded in 1178, the Vocational School of Agriculture and Rural Development Rural of Cister (32-acre with Educational Farm, Apple Orchards of Alcobaça and Equestrian Area), the Municipal Library and more generally all the urban and commercial city. And also on foot, you can visit the natural heritage of the Vale da Ribeira do Mogo - very narrow valleys, and karst morphology with typical Mediterranean vegetation.
