Scicli, Baroque pearl in the South-east of Sicily, was declared World heritage by UNESCO in 2002.
A few kilometres from the beach of Donnalucata and Marina di Ragusa, it takes a short distance from Modica and Ragusa Ibla, baroque pearls of “Val di Noto”.

You can reach Ragusa Ibla (26 km), Modica (11 km), Noto (48 km) and all the settings of “Commissario Montalbano” (the famous character of a tv series based on the novels by Andrea Camilleri).
You can also make some daily excursions to the Mount Etna (150 km), to the “Valle dei Templi” and Scala dei Turchi in Agrigento (144 km). You can also easily arrive to Siracusa (80 km) and Taormina (180 Km), both famous for their archaeological ruins and Greek theatres. The Port of Pozzallo is quite close (23 km), and it offers many connections to Malta by ferries.
