The accommodation

Casa Ilaria is a new apartment in a quiet area with little traffic in Alghero. It is located a few steps from the street to the beach Alghero-bosa of Hope. the public transport links are within walking distance and you can still reach the city center on foot. The apartment is new with a large veranda livable and ideal for quiet relaxing breakfasts and dinners.
In addition to veraqnda is a large room with a kitchenette and a comfortable sofa. The bedroom has a double sofa bed if requested we can also provide an additional bed.
the owners have decided not to allow the use of a third chamber that is closed.
The bathroom has a shower and window.

Setting

The cuisine offers a rich repertoire of dishes, heavily influenced by the country's various neighbours including Corsica and Italy, accompanied by impressive local wines. The mixing of game and farm produce (traditional with inland towns) and fish and seafood (traditional with coastal towns) result in a combination of flavours and appearance that is unique to Sardinia.

Activities and attractions

Now a popular holiday resort, Alghero is a charming old Catalan town often referred to as the Coral Riviera, nestled into the north west Sardinian coastline, with wonderful views over the bay to the dramatic cliffs at Capo Caccia. The old walled Alghero town, within the ancient ramparts and look out towers, has a lively atmosphere with a good selection of shops, café bars and restaurants. It has an interesting history to discover manifested in its well preserved architecture. There is a 5km long white sandy beach stretching from the port and marina to Fertilia and other lovely coves and beaches on the way to Porto Conte.

Alghero is an ideal all year round holiday destination to either relax and dine out in the town enjoying the local gastronomic delights, or to use as a base to explore the coastline, local towns and villages. Flights from the UK to Alghero airport (Fertilia) operate all year round.
