The accommodation

The spacious and charming top floor apartment in a typical Tuscan two floors old stone house has been restored to preserve the original features with terracotta tile floors and ancient beams. The house is set in the Sodo's hamlet amidst the olive groves. Our lovely apartment in the middle of nature is perfect to reach all main Tuscan and Umbrian sightseeings, not far from Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza and Perugia (all about an hour or an hour and half from here by car or train), and only 20 minutes away from here there is the Trasimeno Lake.

Setting

The house is centrally located in southern Tuscany, 2.5 hours north of Rome, a little over an hour south of Florence, 45 minutes from Siena, 20 minutes from Montepulciano and Perugia and in easy reach of numerous other beautiful Tuscan towns. The property is just a few minutes from Camucia, where the main train station for Cortona is located, a stop on the Rome – Florence train line and where you will find banks, supermarket, bakery and butcher, bars etc.

Activities and attractions

Ten minutes walk from the house or a few minutes drive you can get to a club with Swimming pool, Beach volley, restaurant and bar.
The private car is the best way to get around here but you can also walk around or take buses to go to Cortona and Arezzo. To get to Rome or Florence there is several trains from the Camucia-Cortona station. We’ll provide informations and bus/train timetable.
