The accommodation

Very cozy, single-family and rural house. Situated in a valley, close to Cabezón de la Sal, offers a wide range of possibilities due to its strategic situation, close to the mountains and the sea, as well to historic sites, such as Santillana del Mar, Comillas, Altamira´s caves, San Vicente de la Barquera, or Santander. Surrounded by scenic landscapes, the site is ideal for biking or walking by the river or hiking in the nearby mountains. You are welcome to bring your pet.
The house is composed of two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two separate beds), a bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cozy sitting room with views to a porch and garden.

Setting

Situated in a quiet village, Ontoria. Beautiful views of a garden. 2km away from Cabezón de la Sa, where you would find all types of shops, as well as a train station, buses, outpatients clinic, and other types of services.

Activities and attractions

Situated 12km away from the coast, el Parque Nacional the Oyambre, receives you with its long white sandy beaches. If you approach the mountain you will reach the Reserva Natural del Saja, where you can enjoy the wilderness and beauty of its mountains. It takes 15 minutes to get to the beach by car. It is 30km away from the medieval village of Santillana del Mar, or 45 km away from the city of Santander. Other places of interest are El Soplao caves, or a very nice zoo in Cabarceno.
