Setting

About 65 Km from the airport of Porto (1:0 auto), we can get the EN 13 or A28 motorway to Viana do Castelo and after always North, 14 more miles till Vila Praia de Âncora, looking after the street Chow.

About 800 metres from the well-known and excellent beach of Vila Praia de Âncora, Moledo 3 Km and 5 km Walks. An alternative tour of the Anchor River and by its many levadas and banks accessible and enjoyable, about 5 minutes by car.

Provide bicycles at no cost plus, for tours ecovias which are excellent since the beach and always follow the Atlantic Ocean until Walks.

Activities and attractions

This house is located in the path of the Portuguese Way of the Coast - Paths of Santiago, next to Dolmen of Barrosa, monument of megalithic period (between 4000 years b.C. and 3500 years b.C.).

Since the weekly fairs, visits to several historical sites and places of vila do Alto Minho such as Ponte da Barca, Arcos de Valdevez, Ponte de Lima, Viana do Castelo, Barcelos that so much interest have the tourist point of view. Vila Nova de Cerveira is also one of the beautiful villages that we can visit and which is located about 15 minutes by car.

It is, however, in Vila Beach anchor which are excellent restaurants along Atlantic Avenue, with very fresh fish, and Sands on the beach only to walk and reflect in a true spirit of rest and communion with nature.
Places of entertainment for the younger ones are also available, mainly in the neighbouring localities, Moledo, Walks (with Ferry to Spain) and Viana do Castelo.
