This wonderful estate is situated on a spectacular panoramic spot. The property extends on over 40 hectares - smooth hills covered with olive groves and wine yards and a little lake. On a clear day you can see Lucca with its wonderful walls.

The building belongs to Villa Bellosguardo (built in 1700) which was the farm of Carlo Ludovico di Borbone duke of Lucca, and afterward abode of Elena Baciocchi (Napoleone Bonaparte's sister

There is a lawn (1'000 sqm) around the pool, partially fenced and equipped with a table and chairs and sun umbrellas.

Apartment Calla (9 persons): is situated on the first floor and is accessed through an external independent staircase. It consists of an open-plan living room with a kitchen corner (equipped with a stove, oven, fridge/freezer, TV and a dining table); there are 4 double bedrooms (one of them has an additional single bed), 3 bathrooms with shower. One of the three bedrooms has air conditioned.

There are granite tiled floors and pastel color paints, the apartment is bright and comfortably furnished. External utility room with washing machine, iron, sink etc is in common with other customers. There is a spacious outdoor area which is surrounding the house on three sides that is equipped with tables and chairs.

Setting

The immediate surroundings are convenient for strolls and trips by bicycles. The historical centre of Lucca is within short distance (6 km) as also the other art towns of Tuscany.

Car recommended! The coast of the Versilia with its endless sandy beaches is easily reachable (30 minutes by car). In the immediate vicinity there are two excellent restaurants renowned for their Tuscan cuisine. Enjoy to laze by the swimming pool (6 x 12m, deep: 1.40m, set in earth).

Piazza Anfiteatro Frediano and you can see this explosion of colors and scents .-- May / October 'in Festival' at the weekend, theater, music, ballet in historical homes, churches and beautiful environments in the Plain of Lucca .-- June / July: 'Summer Festival' series of concerts in the most beautiful squares of Lucca with artists of international importance.

Attractions in the area: July / August: 'Puccini Festival' in the splendid setting of Lake Massacciuccoli takes place annually in this famous festival dedicated to the great composer Giacomo Puccini .-- Beginning in September: 'Wine Festival of Monte Carlo' in the charming medieval village of Montecarlo is held wine festival that offers the chance to sample the excellent local productions .-- Sept. 13: 'St. Cross - The Illuminations ', a traditional procession in period costume through the streets of the old town lit up by thousands of wax candles which is renewed devotion.
