Less than an hour drive from the Alicante Airport, Orihuela Costa is well-connected and easy to reach by renting a car or taking a taxi. There is also a direct bus transportation from the Alicante airport to Torrevieja, and from Torrevieja to Orihuela Costa. Orihuela Costa is fantastic for enjoying various outdoor activities; you can find 4 renowned golf courses and several fabulous sandy beaches in the area. Supermarkets, restaurants and other services are also close by, such as the largest shopping centre in the province of Alicante, Zenia Boulevard with over 150 shops.

Activities and attractions

Costa Blanca is an excellent place for enjoying a relaxing holiday by the beach and the area also offers fabulous opportunities for various outdoor activities from water sports to golf. In fact, some of Europe’s best golf courses are found here. There is so much to do and explore in the area, for example the Castle of Santa Barbara in Alicante with breathtaking views over the city and its beautiful marina is a definite must see! There are also several water parks and other amusement parks in the area, such as Terra Mitica theme park in Benidorm, definitely worth visiting on your holiday, especially if you are with children!
