The accommodation
Casa de Romão, built in rustic stone, but with a modern, comfortable interior, is the renovation of an old farm building, which still retains the granary and its beautiful rural setting. Located in Carrazedo, 13 km from the centre of Braga and 1 km from Amares town centre on the road between Braga and the Gerês National Park. This air conditioned accommodation is surrounded by a terrace, spacious gardens with an outdoor swimming pool, a barbecue and other leisure facilities, like Wi Fi, television, etc.
The bedrooms in Casa de Romão are decorated individually with views out over the garden or the swimming pool. Each of the bedrooms has a modern en-suite bathroom with a shower.
House guests can enjoy a fully equipped, modern kitchen and a lounge with all the comforts. There are countless restaurants less than 5 minutes away by car.

Beautiful villa in a great location
As a family of 4 we stayed in this lovely 3 bedroomed villa for 9 nights and had a wonderful time. Isidro and Ana warmly welcomed us on our arrival and made it clear that they were on hand throughout our stay to provide help should we need it. As owners they live in another property within the grounds but at no time did they intrude on our privacy, The property had everything we needed and was clean, spacious and well furnished and with very comfortable beds. The pool (kept very clean) was in the sun all day long although there was some shade in the area surrounding the pool should you need to escape the afternoon sun. There was also a shaded terrace with table and chairs right by the villa. The villa was very well located for visits to places like Braga, Guimares, Barcelos, Porto, Geres National Park and beaches (all within 1 hour's drive). There were supermarkets and restaurants nearby. A great family holiday in a beautiful villa. A big thank you to Isidro and Ana (and their 2 lovely dogs).
