Nestled away on a hilltop in a quiet residential area just minutes from the town centre and beaches, La Maison de Sophie is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Trevignano Romano. The town itself is a a gem, a small pictoresque village just 40 minutes north of Rome, where you can avoid the hustle and bustle of the city, and relax in a vacation retreat , while being close to visit Rome on daily visits by train or 40 minute drive.

The town offers many great restaurants by the lake, winebars, pizzerias, and excellent icecream , and local festivals are always on during summer months in the town's major piazza. The drive from Rome's main airport is a 50 min drive on the highway Roma-Civitavecchia, exit to Cerverteri - Bracciano then Trevignano Romano. Activities and attractions

The town offers many water sports including windsurf, canoeing, beachvolley, water fun for children, Horsebackriding, tennis courts, golf in Le Querce Golf Club in nearby Sutri. Many historical and artistic sights are nearby: medieval castle and town of Bracciano, Viterbo the ancient papal town with it's thermal baths, Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola, Calcatta. Naturalistic sights nearby include the regional park of Maltignano and Bracciano, thermal baths in Terme di Stigliano, boat trip on the lake exploring all the 3 towns : Anguillara, Bracciano, Trevignano.
