The accommodation
Beautiful and cozy old cortijo - a once-typical Andalusian country home. Perfect for families with children, for couples and for groups of friends. The swimming pool has stunning views of the Sierra Cabrera mountains and Mojácar village, a large covered porch with bar and plenty of room for eating and sunbathing. A covered terrace with views of the sea and the village. Inner patio with central palm tree. Two double bedrooms, one with three beds and another with four (perfect for kids). Three bathrooms, with one en suite. Large kitchen/dining room.. A well-established garden, with palms, olive trees and impressive cactuses. TV (Spanish and British) and internet. Ample private parking. In a quiet area between the sea and the village, but only five minutes' walk from the shore. Mojácar is a beautiful village with over 10 miles of coastline, busy beaches with excellent beach bars/restaurants and empty beaches for those looking for peace and quiet. A well-established international community.

Excellent property
Cortijo moreno was excellent for our families. We were there july 20-27. We were a party of 11: two families of 5- each with 3 teenagers plus mother in law. There were several features of this property that made for a great vacation. This property was beautiful- the indoor and outdoor decor. It actually feels bigger than the pictures on the website. It was really roomy for all of us to comfortably fit. There are so many private areas in the property and within the house for everyone to have privacy- whether to work on laptop, read quietly, play on your phone, or just take a nap. The pool was wonderful. I think one of the best features of the property was three areas for outdoor dining- two covered and the one large covered area adjacent to the pool with a wonderful bbq grill. The location was about 600 meters up the hill from the beach. The ac in the bedrooms was strong. Made for good restful sleep. There were plenty of dishes and cookware for our cooking. We were very sad to leave!

Beautiful place
Before we came to spain, we always knew that we wanted a nice clean villa big enough to accommodate a group of 8 comfortably and the villa was perfect. The views were superb, the pool was lovely and the location was great. The bbq area was also perfect as we had a day of thundery rain so that was a nice feature where we could sit outside even in bad weather
Fantastic House
We spent 11 days in Cortijo Moreno, 5 adults and 5 children. We had a lovely time. The house was beautiful and practical, we all loved it! the pictures on the site do not show how stunning the house really is. We definitely recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to come back.
