In the nice quiet part of Algarve - TAVIRA- lies the just renovated apartments (3 apartments in one building) of Quinta Rodrigues where you can spend your vacations in a relaxing way in an oasis of green and tranquility. A spacious place inside, but specially outside where you can enjoy nature and a pool with eated water.

The cosy Quinta Rodrigues sits peacefully on a rural location in Luz de Tavira, away from mass tourism, yet with easy access to all major points (Faro airport, beaches, center of Tavira and other touristic points). Near Quinta Rodrigues there are many farms especially with orange trees to see. At the neighbors besides the plantations is possible to see farm animals (chickens, goats and ponies).

Quinta Rodrigues has 3 apartments to rent, which are decorated per theme - Apartamento Mar (first floor), Apartamento Rustico (ground floor) and Apartamento Natureza (grond floor besdes apartamento rustico).

In order to enjoy the beautifull weather there is in the front from the apartments a huge garden (1000m2) with lots of typical plants from the region, with seating places, a semi ecological swimming pool (15x6m), a little lake, parking, a children's playground and lots of green space where you can play games (like football or something else)!

Setting

Around 6 km from the apartment you can vind the town of Tavira that is centrally located in the Eastern Algarve, about 25 kilometers from both Faro and the Spanish border. By connoisseurs Tavira described as "Queen of the Algarve" with its Renaissance facade, the former castle, over 20 old churches and the palm-lined squares. It is certainly worth seeing and a pleasant town. We find the large covered market, a typical Portuguese shops, as well as several restaurants and cosy cafes with terrace. The beautiful beach of Tavira is an island off the coast. In the summer season there is a regular bus service to the boats that sail you to the island.

Activities and attractions

Things to see and do in Tavira. Depending on how long are your holidays in Tavira, you can more or less things. Tavira is a small town so you can see and do many things in a short time.

For example if you only have a weekend stay, then you can choose some of the most important places to visit, such as 2 or 3 churches, the castle, try to go to the island, visiting Pego Inferno and a walk through the center of the city. Furthermore, there are all kind of sea sports and excursions organized by tourist agencies.
