House with 1 bedroom only 3000 meters from the beach

We stayed at the house for two weeks in Nov-Dec. 18. We were three people, and very happy with everything. Great hosts, and nice little place with good possibilities for cooking with a garden spot, close to the beach. There is also a grosery store close by, and possible to park the car outside. Would gladly rent this place again.

The owners João and Dina take good care of this nice small house, with eye for details. Although small, the floorplan is very smart, so the house is surprisingly complete. Parking the car is just in front of the door. Both owners speak English and give tips for sightseeing. The house is ideally located nearby beaches, as well as Sintra and also Lisbon is not far away. Tip: if you travel by car, go to the railwaystation in Mercès (18 km). There is a large parking place and it is free. Hop on the Sintra line to Rossio station in Lisbon. This journey takes 32 minutes and cost only €2,20 one way.

Joao's place is a pleasant, clean and comfortable place to stay. It's good value and Joao was very helpful when we had issues re illness and needing a pharmacy on a Sunday(!). We were also able to store our bikes safely and had a great week here. It's well positioned for the local beaches and Sintra.
