The accommodation
Basque manor house XVII century approx. Fully equipped.It is a three storey house with an entrance hall and a games room with table tennis facilities in it. The second floor has got the large living room and dining room, the kitchen and a toilet. The third floor has got four twin rooms and a double one with two bathrooms.
The house is surrounded by green lawns and garden including a small oak wood. The views from the house and gardens are magnificent, the Cantabrian Sea and the mountains can be admired from all places. For lovers of nature and birds it is a place to visit. You will also be able taste the excellent Basque cuisine in the restaurants of the nearby towns of Mutriku and Ondarroa.
To get to the house you will have to take the road that goes upwards just in front of the Saturraran petrol Station on the G-638 road Ondarroa-Mutriku. After going upwards for appr. 1000 metres you get to Galdonamendi Auzoa, there you turn right and go on for about 50 metres where there are two roads to the left next to each other, you must take the upper one, follow it for 30m and you are at the gate of the property.

Beautiful situated. Camping at 1 kilometer. Dea supermarket at 5 minutes (by car) Furniture old stuff.
lovely place, poor showers
We totally enjoyed this great house and its surroundings, even though we had to share one poor shower with 10 people. there are two showers, but we could only use one at a time and it would still be quite meager. but we coped all week and had a wonderfull time anyway. We liked thepiano. it could do with tuning but stil was a nice touch. Mutriku is very beautiful and has great atmosphere. the beautifull beach can be reached on foot, but it is a nice climb back:)

Due to works in the área we had water cuts during the whole week. But this is something that had never happened before and it has never happened again since the works finished. There are no pressure problems in the showers. ------------------------------------------- Efectivamente esa semana hubo cortes de agua continuados por obras en la zona y el agua llegaba con poca presión. nunca en la casa ha habido problemas con la presión del agua. Y nunca los ha vuelto a haber desde que finalizaron los trabajos.
Perfect vacation
One of the best vacations in my life. The house is ideally located on a hilltop, far away from the beach (walking is not reached), but the views compensated. Near grazing horses, and it is equally close to San Sebastian and Bilbao. Anyway better to use the a car. The house has everything you need down to a surfboard, a ping-pong table with bats, football gates and the ball, parking for 4-5 cars. Comfortably accommodate 10-11 persons. Wholeheartedly recommend and give the hosts a big hello! Thanks for a good vacation!
