The accommodation

In an urbanization 150m from El Playazo beach, with air conditioning/heating, free WiFi (optical fiber), Smart TV with Spanish channels, and a terrace facing south ideal to enjoy the sun.

Maximum capacity 4 adults. There are 2 bedrooms (2nd bedroom with two beds 80 x 200 or bunk beds), 1 bathroom with bathtub or shower, living-dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Free parking space available in underground garage.

IMPORTANT: Reasonable consumption of electricity up to 15 kWh/day is included. The surplus will be charged. In case of discounted monthly rent, electricity is NOT included. Pets are welcome (1 pet/booking). Groups of young people are not accepted (NO DREAMBEACH). Smoking in the accommodation is not allowed.

Setting

Located in Residencial Alborada (textile urbanization), with elevator, a large communal pool + children's pool (open in June, July, August and September), paddle tennis court and children's playground. Several bars and restaurants about 100m and a large supermarket about 800m.

The beach "El Playazo" is only 150m from Residendial Alborada. A path runs along the beach and divides into two, right the naturist beach and left the textile beach.

Vera Playa is a lively area with all amenities, as well as quiet. About 100m from the apartments there is a bar-restaurant where to sit for a drink. There is a large supermarket at 800m, next to the Aquatic Park, all in Vera Playa.

Vera town is 6 km and other near villages are Villaricos at 2 km, Garrucha at 5 Km and Mojacar at 8 km. You can also relive movies like "to Once Upon a Time""The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" at Port Bravo, at just 60 km.

Activities and attractions

This part of the mediterranean coast is known for its long sandy beaches which give room to all kinds of activities. If you want to relax, just sunbathe and take a dip in the sea now and then. But, if you want more "action" you can: kayak, windsurfing, canoeing, sailing, catamaran, to name a few. You can also rent a boat with or without crew.

Whether you want to learn or if you are an expert diver, the coast of Vera, in Almería, will surprise you with its rich variety of marine specimens.Diving in the Cabo de Gata and its surroundings is something you will never forget!
And for some family fun, spend some time at the Waterpark in Vera: just 2 min. drive from the appartments!

To fully enjoy all Almería has to offer we recommend any number of activities. The whole area in and around Vera Playa and surrounding villages like Mojacar, Garrucha, Villaricos have a good infrastructure of bike trails. You can rent a bike near the apartments for just €9 per day.

If you like to play golf, there are several courses in the area. Vera has an 18 hole golf course and there are 5 more in the immediate vicinity.

If you like horses, to ride or learn to ride them, you are also at the right place. There are several equestrian centres in the area that organise day trips, courses etc.

There is a paddle court free of charge at the Alborada apartments, and there are tennis courts nearby as well (for a fee).

Almería, and especially the northern part where Vera Playa is situated, is a part of Andalucia which is not especially known as a tourist destination for foreigners. It is and always has been a tourist destination for the Spanish people. In the last couple of years the area has attracted more and more interest from English as well as northern European guests, who love the authentic atmosphere of the area.

The main attraction of the area is the beach (both nudist and textile), but the natural park 'Cabo de Gata', the desert of Tabernas and natural elements as extraordinary as the Caves of Sorbas are definitely worth a mention.

But most attractive of all is the incredible amount of sunshine hours a year!
