The "Casas de Campo do Junqueirinho" has 2 units of independent accommodation with private pool: Monte Azul and Taipa 2.

MONTE AZUL is a traditional house with 2 bedrooms, shed, barbecue and a private saltwater pool.

TAIPA 2 is a building of contemporary architecture made of rammed earth, with 2 bedrooms, private pool and deck.

Any of the units offers a stay of comfort and privacy, in communion with nature.

Setting

The "Casas de Campo do Junqueirinho" are located in the Alentejo Coast region, very near the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, that is the finest preserved stretch of European coastline, covering over 100 km, from Porto Covo (in the Alentejo) to Burgau (in the Algarve).

Both the Fonte de Serne Dam and the Mira River proximity invite fishing and water sports.

The beaches of the Alentejo Coast are less than half an hour (Vila Nova de Milfontes, Porto Covo, Ilha do Pessegueiro, Malhão, São Torpes, ...).

Around the location also favors the contact with a broad historical and cultural heritage.

The Abela carries traces of occupation from the Bronze Age.
In Alvalade the church of Nossa Senhora da Conceição dates from the end of the fifteenth century.

In Santiago do Cacém (the county seat) there are many places of interest: the Arabic origin Castle, the Mother Church, an important Historical Center, the Municipal Museum, the Windmill of the Cumeadas and the Rio de Figueira Urban Park.

The Roman ruins of Miróbriga represent one of the most significant traces of Roman times in the southwest of Portugal. Miróbriga was classified Public Interest in 1940. The Roman city extends for over 2 km, with ruins of residential buildings, paved streets, a hippodrome, a spa, a bridge and a forum.
