The accommodation

Can Ginesta is a village house dating from the 16th century, which has been completely renovated into two independent self-contained units:

Garbí sleeping 2/4 persons, and Tramuntana sleeping 2/8 persons (12 persons in all)

Tramuntana : On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen and dining-cum-living room leading onto a private veranda, as well as an en suite bedroom sleeping two or three persons (as required).

Upstairs, two en suite bedrooms, one with double bed and a large adjoining terrace, and the other sleeping two or three persons (as required).

Setting

Can Ginesta boasts a privileged location in the small village of Sant Feliu de Boada, in the heart of Baix Empordà County. Under 10 minutes from the best coves and beaches on the Costa Brava and the towns of La Bisbal, Pals, Torroella de Montgrí, Palafrugell and Palamós.

Activities and attractions

The Iberian settlement near Ullastret, the Greco-Roman ruins of Empúries, the Fishing Museum in Palamós, the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, the Gala Dalí Castle-Museum in Púbol, the Cork Museum in Palafrugell and the Museum of Rural Life in Palau-Sator are outstanding among the many places of interest in the area.

Flat terrain and numerous relatively traffic-free back roads in the area make hiking and cycling popular activities.
Among the many sports available in the municipal area or nearby are football, basketball, scuba-diving, snorkelling, fishing, sailing, windsurf, golf, pitch&putt, paintball, cycling, mountain motorcycling, skateboardin.
