House for 2-5 people only 300 meters from the beach

The apartment feels like you're staying at a friend's place :) It's compact & I'd been warned of this by the landlady, but it has a great verandah & all you need for comfort & to cook. We didn't find the washing machine very effective but there's a launderette on site if needed. It is in a great location - quiet, green & lots of open space. The bar & swimming pool are a short walk away & the children loved the pool. It's a good size, deep enough for diving in, very family friendly. The supermarket on site is well-stocked & decent value. We opted not to rent a car - instead we did a couple of excursions by taxi (cheaper than paying for 5 of us on the bus!) & a trip to a water park organised by Reception, who are very helpful. Cabanas is an easy-going little town with a great fish and fruit&veg market 6 mornings a week, family butcher & several restaurants. The kids really enjoyed the boat to the beach - and what an amazing beautiful beach it is! Kilometres of soft white sand, backed by protected dunes, shallow warm swimming too. Perfect. Great communication with the landlady. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would recommend, thank you.
