The accommodation
Our villa is spacious, bright, and well equipped. Ideally located in the heart of La Caleta - a seaside village- The villa has ample terrace areas, a private pool, one can find sun or shade around the villa. A lovely bbq area has a dining table beside for those outdoor evenings.
Large living space, open plan kitchen, interior patio dining area- Two bedrooms on the ground floor, each with its own bathroom. Double bedroom upstairs with a shower room.
Setting
La Caleta is one of the "places to be" in Tenerife. It is a quiet coastal village only a 20 minute drive from the south international airport. Within the village are several fine restaurants overlooking the lovely bay. Here one cannot go hungry ! - A choice of fish, meat, local produce and also oriental and italian are amongst the best places to enjoy.
One can swim off the rocks in the bay; there is a also natural beach at the edge of the village with a popular beach bar somewhere to spend a lazy afternoon and enjoy the sunset too...
Just along the road is the lovely white Bahia beach.
Activities and attractions
With a golf course only a 3 minute drive up the road,and 8 others on the island golfer are in their paradise.
There is a divers club on the door step offering courses and sea tortoise visits.
so.... as well as the lazy day by your pool, there is also plenty to do for the active.

... ou Villa Virgo : le top !
L'agence gère 11 villas du même type à La Caleta, près d'Adeje. Les abords sont plutôt sympa, et n'ont en tout cas rien à voir avec les grands ensembles hôteliers ou locatifs, les "usines à touristes" : une plage à 500 mètres (je confirme), proximité des restos et petits commerces. Deux Hypermarchés, Mac Do, etc... à moins de 5 minutes en voiture. Accès au parc du Teide à environ 40 minutes en voiture. Plage de Las Americas à 15 minutes en voiture. Les villas sont récentes, de belle qualité, avec fenêtre saillante en bois, en référence au style canaréen. Nous étions à la Villa Virgo (elles ont toutes un nom de signe du zodiaque). Grande piscine impeccablement entretenue, ainsi que la villa. Les prestations sont de grande qualité : villa très spacieuse, avec lave-linge, lave-vaisselle, grande TV écran plat, Internet, Wi-Fi (une interruption d'Internet signalée et résolue par l'Agence dans les 10 minutes !), 3 salles de bains pour 3 chambres, solarium à l'étage, barbecue, table extérieure abritée, salon d'extérieur avec parasol, draps, serviettes, vaisselle, et même des boissons dans le réfrigérateur à notre arrivée. Accueil impeccable et chaleureux. Règlement possible par PayPal. Le parking s'effectue dans la rue, devant la villa. Nous n'avons pas eu de problème pour nous garer.
