The accommodation
Eighteenth century country house with garden and 5 rooms. Rebuilded according to old Castillian typical houses. Placed in a small and quiet town surrounded by forest, and beautiful views of the Sierra de Guadarrama. In lower floor kitchen, big dining room and living room with chimney and toilet. In second floor rooms, 3 bathrooms, and in 3rd floor big attic, great for the children. The house has a garden with a porch, and car parking.
Setting
The house is 10 km from the protected Regional Park of Guadarrama, with the highest mountains in center of Spain, and 5 km, from medieval town of Pedraza, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, with castle, old houses, romanic churches and one of the most charming plaza mayor.
Activities and attractions
Visit Pedraza is a must, walk around the town, visit the castle, the medieval jail, churches and antique shops. Walk around the area and forests with mediterranean typical flora . Visit forest area of Navafria with the waterfalls "El Chorro", walk in the forest sorrounded by autoctonous pines "pino de Valsaín". In spring and summer is nice to visit Hoces del Duraton in canoe near the roman founded town of Sepúlveda.

Estancia maravillosa
La casa está muy bien equipada, no le falta detalle de menaje y todo lo que necesites para pasar unos días en el campo. Es cómoda, muy bonita decorada y acogedora a pesar de ser grande, ventaja si vas con un grupo de 15 personas … la dueña es encantadora, y te ayuda y facilita todo lo que necesites. En mi caso, nos puso cuna, con sábanas , edredón , y se desviven porque estés lo más a gusto posible. Gracias!! volveremos sin duda !!
