La Florida is a typical Spanish coastal resort area, located in the south of the Costa Blanca. The beautiful beaches of Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia or Cabo Roig are only 3 km away and have been awarded Blue Flag status. They have a wonderful promenade for walking or cycling between them with more than 10 km of seafront. Highly recommended! Orihuela Costa is complemented by a wonderful selection of shops, cafes, supermarkets, bars and restaurants and has a Mediterranean climate with 320 days of sunshine a year. The nearest hospital is the Hospital Universitario de Torrevieja (5 km away), and a few minutes away is the Hospital Quirónsalud Torrevieja.
