The accommodation

An elegant apartment equipped with every comfort is located in a historic building in Rome's oldest neighborhood. Within walking distance are the Colosseum, the most famous archaeological sites and points of historical and cultural interest, as well as renowned shopping streets such as Via Veneto and Via del Corso. The apartment is located in a large pedestrian area enriched by fashionable stores and clubs, with access to essential services such as supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, and bike and scooter rental outlets. It is only 100 meters from the Cavour metro station.

Setting

Air-conditioned and elegantly furnished apartment, consisting of a comfortable and intimate bedroom, a spacious living room where there is a sofa that converts into a comfortable double bed (this is the space intended as a second sleeping area). Overlooking the living room is a space dedicated to the kitchenette, which can be isolated from the rest of the house with a beautiful sliding door.
Completing the house is a bathroom with shower and toilet, and an elegant built-in closet at the entrance.
There is a safe in the house and it is fully air conditioned.
The apartment is very quiet as it faces a street devoid of bars and restaurants, despite being located in the most central and famous area of the city.
The street entrance is under 24-hour video surveillance.
It is possible to have a crib and high chair for children upon request.

Activities and attractions

I really love this part of Rome, the oldest, the Rione 1°, Monti.
It is built on the remains of ancient Roman houses, temples, here history is everywhere, under the ground, under the houses, and you only have to look up to see all that is left of the magnificent. History and the Roman people who lived here have left indelible traces. In more recent times, the famous 'Suburra' was here, people rebelling against the schemes and laws, loves, betrayals, games, conspiracies and vendettas, have taken place here over the centuries. Walking along the ancient streets, I like to imagine who might have lived in these splendid palaces. It takes me a few minutes on foot to reach the most beautiful places in my city, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain, Via del Corso, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, without having to take the car or the metro.
Beauty and taste are everywhere: streets and squares are bustling with craft shops, fashion and vintage shops, art galleries, bars and restaurants.
There is no shortage of essential services, such as supermarkets, pharmacies and banks.
An elegant and lively nightlife winds its way through the small alleyways, and you can find events, festivals and exhibitions.
