A FEAST FOR THE SENSES.
If you are really looking to disconnect from the exterior and interior noise, the hustle and bustle, the excess of urban stimuli, and at the same time, recover the taste of beauty, of nature in its splendour, of silence and a kind of peace that emanates and embraces us, this is your place.

Also available from the 20th to the 26th of December and from the 3rd to the 6th of January 10% discount.

Can Pons Xic is a truly special estate, a hidden gem in Catalonia, among majestic trees, meadows and woods, and a large garden cared for with love and dedication.

It is on a hill (‘carena’ as we call it here) and is open to the south, east and northwest.
From October to May, the sun appears over the sea, moving calmly from east to south, offering unforgettable sunrises.
In summer, sunsets to the north-east, over the silent, clean and pure mountains of Les Guilleries.
From May to mid-July. The lavender fields, full of life, colour and aroma, intoxicate you and rejuvenate your soul and your gait as you stroll among them, gliding like a butterfly among so much beauty.

All seasons are a delight here, in a benign and friendly microclimate; no humidity, in winter, with the delicious cold that only cools your cheeks and nose, the fire of the two fireplaces, the warm rooms, and the meditation room for reading, resting, contemplating, talking quietly and deepening friendships .... and in summer, so many cool corners, with a permanent breeze, whatever happens outside. And the swimming pool, of course, with its own little wood. Autumn,... the beauty of the Montseny, the contrasts and the light, the mushrooms, the forest that wakes up and offers life and sustenance. And Spring, the symphony arrives, flowers, green and life, the garden and the fields dress up, and everything that has been sown, cared for, left to grow in peace, sprouts and shows itself, intoxicating the senses with joy and wonder.

La Masia,...although we have dressed it up and improved it for you, it has been our home for 4 years, and it preserves that flavour of a house lived with love, where things are where they have to be to make everything easier, more intimate and cosy.
The kitchen, my favourite place, with its huge fireplace and two large windows facing the sea. Cooking, washing dishes, whatever it is, becomes a pleasure, which you will surely miss when you leave.
We love this place and take care of it with detail and dedication, and we are happy to finally be able to open it so that other people can enjoy it as well.

RULES DURING YOUR STAY AT CAN PONS XIC

We wish you a comfortable and pleasant stay enjoying the beauty and uniqueness of this space.

First of all, we would like to explain that near the farmhouse where you are staying, in the small masoveria, it is possible that 1 or 2 of us may be there, where we live taking care of this property, available for any questions, doubts or problems that may arise, but completely respecting your privacy.
We will also accompany you at the entrance, handing over the keys and documents and at the exit.
If you let us know well in advance, we can organise a visit to the most special places on this 28 hectare estate.

On arrival you will be welcomed with a basket of products from our organic garden registered in the CCPAE. We can also inform you in advance of your arrival, of the vegetables and fruits of the moment, in case you prefer to taste freshly picked organic produce. Prices are never above the organic market value.

As the swimming pool is not fenced, some areas are steep and there are electric shepherds in a large part of the garden area, NO CHILDREN OR PETS ARE ALLOWED. We apologise for any inconvenience.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS
. The reservation is 40% of the total amount, and the remaining 60% must be transferred, at least 3 days before arrival, except in the case of some portals in which the management of reservations and collections is made directly.
Before check in a deposit will be paid depending on the duration of the stay, between 300 € and 450 €, which will be refunded after checking the condition of the house, garden and belongings. If any deterioration, loss or damage is found, we will proceed to the valuation of replacement or repair, before the refund of the deposit is applicable.
A cleaning charge corresponding to the duration of the stay (between a minimum of 120€ and a maximum of 230€) will be applied to the price established for the accommodation. In some portals it is included when booking, in others it is added later (please consult).

1.- Care of the space, furniture and furnishings.

Please treat the space with respect and care. Any damage, loss or malfunction should be reported as soon as possible so that it can be properly resolved. Any breakages, losses or damages caused will be deducted from the deposit. If the amount of the damage is greater than the deposit made, the guests will be charged for the costs.

Before check out, furniture, utensils and belongings must be returned to the place where they were found on arrival. Failure to do so will result in an additional cleaning and tidying charge.

In case of rain, please leave your shoes at the entrance. We have shelves and benches for this purpose.

Very important: close behind you the wooden doors in the garden areas protected by electric shepherds, as wild boars, when the sun goes down, can enter and cause considerable damage.

2.- Noise of all kinds.

Avoid making noise, especially between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m., to ensure that all guests, fauna and flora of the forest and meadows enjoy the serenity of the environment and nature. Can Pons Xic is a space designed, created and destined for contemplation, the enjoyment of nature and the idiosyncrasy of the place.

3.- Waste management

Help us to preserve the beauty of the environment. Any rubbish generated must be recycled and deposited in the containers provided inside the house and/or in the area of the football pitch.
All waste and rubbish must be removed before check-out.
We have compost bins in our garden for raw waste. We will explain how to organise them.

4.- Prohibitions

No parties or events are allowed.

Smoking is not allowed inside any enclosed space. There are ashtrays and litter bins in the garden and outside areas.

Occasional visitors not registered as guests are not allowed unless previously agreed with the property and always in a number limited to the maximum authorised.

It is not allowed to enter the orchards unaccompanied by an authorised person.

It is not permitted to enter the carpeted relaxation room with shoes, food or drink.

It is forbidden to barbecue inside the fireplaces of the house.

You may not eat in rooms, sofas or rooms not reserved for that purpose.
Enjoy your meal in the dining room, the large kitchen, or the spaces in the garden prepared for this purpose.

5.- Swimming pool (Open from May to October)

Please note that the swimming pool is not fenced. We decline any responsibility for its use.

Swimming pool opening hours: 9.30 am to 9 pm. For stays of more than two days, the pool will be checked and cleaned (approx. 1 hour).

Washbasin and shower towels cannot be used in the swimming pool or outdoors.

6. - Barbecue

Barbecues may be used as long as there is no prohibition issued by regional legislation, or in times of danger of fire due to drought and/or heat and only in the large barbecue located in front of the old football pitch, it is wood or coal and the embers must always be extinguished before leaving it.
There is a container prepared to deposit the ashes, once they have cooled down.

7.- Identification

All guests staying at Can Pons Xic are requested to send (at least 3 days in advance) a photocopy of their ID card or passport, or a full description of their details. In response to legislative requirements and to abuses or non-compliance in terms of the number of people staying or the holding of unauthorised parties or events.
In the event of non-compliance with this requirement, the reservation will be cancelled until it is rectified, without refund of the amount of the reservation.

8.- Security

Your belongings will be safe if you remember to lock the wooden entrance gates and windows when the whole group leaves the house to go into the village, for a walk in the surrounding area, etc.

Also remember to turn off lights, electrical appliances and others.

9.- Check In/ Check Out
Two or 3 nights : Check in between 17h30 and 19h30h/ Check out until 17h30h.
Full week: Check in Saturday at 18h / Check out Saturday at 10h30h.

10.- At the accommodation

When the keys are handed over, the tenants and the landlady will sign a basic rental contract.
