Apartment for 2 people only 40 meters from the beach

The accommodation

The front entrance is shared with the 2nd and 3rd floor, the ground floor has it own entrance
(I also own the ground floor, which is also on Rentalia under reference: 995954.

Just a few steps up , halfway on the stairs , you will find the entrance door to the 1st floor.
When you enter the apartment, you get straight into the living area which consist of a leather sofa and a dining table and a wall mounted TV. From the living room you have access to the French balcony, kitchen and bedroom.

From the balcony you can see the little alley leading to the boulevard/beach. You can see the palm trees on the beach and the sea from the balcony.
Next to the balcony doors is a small kitchen with 2 rings. Just a basic kitchen with a few basic utilities like coffee maker, kettle and microwave: you really do not need to cook, the apartment is in between restaurants and bars !)

On the other side of the living area is the bedroom in which a double bed and a cloth cabinet (and a private cabinet (used by the cleaner).

From the bedroom you can enter the bathroom, which has a toilet, sink and shower cabine.

Setting

The apartment is located in the historic old town of La Vilajoyosa where the fishermen used to live.
The old town has still a good mix of locals and tourists (mostly Spaniards, Norwegian and Belgian).
These houses are built late 1800 / beginning 1900: so they are over 100 years old.
(This apartment is renovated in 2016, so they inside is modern).

Turning left, when leaving the apartment, you already see the palm trees on the beach and the sea.
At the front and back of the apartment there are kitchens of restaurants where the food for lunch and dinner is prepared. Next to the apartment there is an empty space which can be used for putting out a beach chair.

Activities and attractions

In the harbour you can :
* find a scuba dive center (Alisub)
* Rent boats, jet-ski's, kayaks/canooing, sailing
* training in sailing and kayaking

There is a nice walk to an ancient watch tower (30 minutes) towards Alicante.
There is a long walk to Playa Torre which also has an monumental Tomb (4 meters high), see pictures.
In the mountains, there are all kind of walks you can do. The most spectacular one is the Pasarela de Relleu with halfway during the walk a Camenito del Rey on glass plates (did you watch Squidgames ?)

From La Vila, you can go easily (even by public transport) to Alicante (Castle Santa Barbara !) or if you must .... Benidorm (way too busy for me). If you like the nightlife everyday of your holiday ...go there and stay there and pay 60 euros for an excursion to La Vila !
