Dear guest,
we warmly welcome you to Gorizia. Even if this is not our home, where we live, we consider it so. And for this short time it will be yours. We have tried to make it as comfortable as possible by thinking about all our needs when we travel.
We hope we have succeeded in making your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible.
However, for a pleasant and safe stay, it is good to know the internal rules of the house. For any further information, please do not hesitate to ask.
Check-in and check-out
The Piuma apartment is exclusively reserved for guests who occupy the apartment: access to unauthorized persons is therefore prohibited.
You can take possession of the accommodation unit from 15:00 to 21:00 on the day of arrival and you have to leave it free by 11:00 on the day of departure.
Please note: Keys upon departure: Unless otherwise agreed, guests are asked to lock the apartment and leave the keys in the mailbox located on the ground floor of the building with the inscription "Lango - Piuma" and inform us by SMS that you have left.
Documents
The guest, upon his arrival, is required to show a valid identity document, for the
registration, in accordance with current legal provisions. Failure to comply with this obligation constitutes violation of the provisions of the penal code.
The data acquired is treated in accordance with the current privacy legislation pursuant to the Decree Legislative No. 196 of 30 June 2003.
City tax
In the municipality of Gorizia, for holiday homes the amount of the tourist tax is € 0.00 per person per night.
Access keys
The keys to the apartment and the door of the building will be delivered. It is absolutely forbidden to duplicate these keys. In case of loss, there is a penalty of € 300.00 fully charged to the guest, for the change of locks.
Smoke
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas of the apartment and of the building.
Cleaning and linen
The apartment and the linen are delivered in perfect order and cleanliness. Upon return, at the end of the stay, any faults and breakages will be charged to the guest. The change of towels is done every 3 days while the bed linen every 5 days. Extraordinary cleaning costs range from
€ 30.00 for a stay of 2 people, to € 50.00 for more people and include room cleaning every other day and final cleaning. Change of linen and ordinary cleaning are included in the price.
Personal objects
The guest will have to look after the valuables left in the apartment. We are not responsible for the eventual disappearance of these objects.
Damage and missing items
Any damage caused after the assessment of responsibility must be compensated by the guest.
Items missing from the rooms will be charged to the occupying guests.
Recommendations and prohibitions
Correct use of the toilets is recommended, avoiding throwing sanitary napkins, cotton swabs and other objects that could block it into the toilet (it is recommended to use the appropriate bins).
It is also recommended:
- to turn off the lights every time you leave the room.
- do not leave the windows open during your absence.
- do not leave the battery charger connected when not in use.
- do not leave taps open (water is a precious commodity!).
- do not leave the air conditioner running while you are away.
- do not leave the bathroom vents on during your absence.
- keep the TV with the volume low so as not to disturb.
Garbage
Garbage is separated into four categories: paper and cardboard, plastic, wet waste and glass.
Due to the size and aesthetics of the apartment, only two garbage bins are visible: in the kitchen and in the bathroom. There are various bags available to guests for correct separation, placed under the kitchen sink.
Guests are not required to take rubbish out of the apartment.
Silence and tranquility
In accordance with the rules of the house and the rules of the Municipal Police, silence is required between 2.00 pm and 4.00 pm and from 10.00 pm to 8.00 am
Internet and WiFi
The structure is equipped with a wi-fi network for internet connection, made available to guests for free. The password is “piuma2023”.
Other electronic devices
Philips HUE system, ambient lights
The apartment is equipped with motion sensors and lights of various colors. The lights are programmed as follows:
Living room, kitchen and bedroom: Turned on from 4pm to 11pm
Bathroom: Always on.
The colors and activation times can be changed remotely according to guests' wishes.
Yale alarm system
You can activate the alarm system by pressing the number 4 button. After 30 seconds, a warning tone will inform you that the system is active. The deactivation code is 4444, and as you enter the code, the unit will beep each time you press the button. After you have entered the correct code, you will hear another beep.
Samsung TV and Decoder
To watch TV programs, you must use the included decoder. It is connected to the TV via HDMI output #1. When you turn on the decoder, it takes about 30 seconds to start.
PHILIPS radio alarm clock
In addition to displaying the time, radio and setting two alarms, the unit has a USB output for charging your mobile device. The cable is not included in the package.
PHILIPS stereo system
In addition to standard CDs and radio, you can play music through your mobile device via Bluetooth connection, USB connection or MP3 device/stick.
We inform our kind guests that we are not responsible for any disruptions due to total or partial lack of electricity supplies, water, internet connection not dependent on our will.
Other services
Free services
At guests disposal there is always a parking space, marked with the letter P (the fourth parking space in line from the entrance) and the utility room (storage room) in the cellar of the building. With prior agreement and subject to availability, you can rent 2 mountain bikes, size M and L. Always available and upon guests request we have a PS3 console with some games.
Non-free services
The wines on the wall next to the kitchen can be consumed. The price of the bottle varies according to the label: please consult us for the best offer available.
The mini-bar:
We remind our kind guests that the water from the tap in Gorizia is drinkable. What's more, the spring is very close to the house where you are at the moment. However, there are people who prefer bottled water, which is why we have also thought of this solution and at your disposal the water from the "mini bar" in the fridge:
