The island of Ischia

Ischia is the largest Island in the Gulf of Naples. It is also called the Green Island, because of its wonderful vegetation and its woods that in certain areas grow right near the coast line. Ischia is also famous for its sunny and sandy beaches and it has a very pleasant climate for all the year.

Ischia is an island of volcanic origin, and some of its hot water springs are in the sea, just a few meters from the shore ! When you arrive Ischia, don’t miss its beautiful beaches (Maronti, Citara, Ischia Porto, Castiglione and Poseidon Garden Beach).

The southern part of Ischia offers the most breathtaking views of the island and innumerable thermal treatment centres, well known also by the Ancient Romans.
