Its natural and fauna wealth offers a great variety of outdoor and cultural activities in the towns of the region and the nearby Royal Monastery of El Escorial.

The Sierra Oeste region of Madrid has risen as a reference for rural tourism in the community. Charming towns, unique natural environments and a lot of authenticity make this region one of the places that you must visit.

The Sierra Oeste has up to 19 municipalities among which we can find historic towns such as Navas del Rey or San Martín de Valdeiglesias.

The natural areas are one of the strengths of the Sierra Oeste, since the region is located between the foothills of the Sierra de Guadarrama and Sierra de Gredos.

In the same way, Active Tourism is one of the greatest attractions of the Sierra Oeste de Madrid. Horseback riding, bicycle routes, climbing, or kallak tours are some of the activities that you can do.

In addition, just 8km from our rural house Sierra Oeste, is El Escorial where we can not only find natural landscapes with a lot of charm, but we can also visit a World Heritage building by UNESCO, the Monastery of El Escorial.
