Day trips can be organised to visit the whole of south-eastern Sicily; Messina; Taormina; Catania, with its fabulous historic centre, splendid palaces and on the northern side, enchanting seaside villages that immerse you in the world of the "Malvoglia" Acicastello, Acitrezza, and along the coast S. Maria La Scala, S. Tecla, Stazzo, Torre Archirafi, coastal towns such as Giarre and Acireale; towns on the western and northern slopes of the volcano, such as Adrano, Bronte: Proceeding on the east coast, Syracuse, with a vast archaeological park, as well as the ancient city of Ortigia; up to the extreme tip, passing by the Marine Reserve of Vendicari, with the tuna fishery and the seaside village of Marzamemi, with another tuna fishery, ending with the Island of Capo Passero, then turning onto the Mediterranean Sea and visiting the cities of art, Unesco World Heritage Sites'.
