The accommodation

Villa da Paz offers everything for an ideal and varied holiday; tranquility, sea view, spectacular private pool, various terraces and more than enough space for 1 or 2 families. The house has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and all modern comforts such as WiFi and satellite TV.
The beautiful beaches of Foz do Arelho are less than 2 kilometers away. One can experience the ocean but swim in the sheltered waters of the laguna, ideal for small children! There is you can also find a boulevard with several cozy bars, terraces and excellent restaurants. In the village itself are several shops, supermarkets and restaurants.

Setting

Villa da Paz is located in Nadadouro in a green quite area on the Obidos Lagoon. The Beaches of Foz do Arelho are can be reached by bicycle of 20 minutes walk. Caldas da Rainha is the closest town on 5 minutes drive. There is an old town with shopping streets, a shoppingcentre and several supermarkets. Famous is the local fruit market each morning on Placa da Frutas.
The entrance to the A8 high-way Oeste is only 5 minutes and leads north to Porto (2hrs) and south to Lisbon (1hr).

Activities and attractions

CULTURE
Nadadouro is located on the coast in the heart of Portugal's cultural center. Within half an hour's drive there are many highlights such as Batalha, Obidos, Fatima and Alcobaca. Lisbon and Coimbra are a great day trips. The fishing villages of Nazare and Peniche offer beautiful views and fantastic seafood (30 minute drive).

BEACH and SUN
Sun-worshippers can enjoy the spacious and sheltered beaches of Foz do Arelho. In addition, the nearby village San Martinho Do Porto has a lively beach and boulevard with numerous shops, bars and restaurants.

WATERSPORTS
For water sports fanatics there are many activities at the sailing school 500 meters from the house. You can join lessons or rent equipment for Kiting, (wind) surfing, canoeing, Catamaran sailing or sub-en. Baleal is ideal for wave surfing and the local surfing school offers trips to the best spots.

GOLF
Discover the best golf courses of the Silver Coast, just 30 minutes from the villa: Praia d'el Rey Course, West Cliffs Golf Course and Royal Obidos.

CULTURE
Obidos, Nazaré, Batalha, Alcobaça, Coimbra and Fatima are worth a visit!
