The accommodation

Property is on the upper floor with a twin bedroom (with air conditioning), a spacious living/dining room with 2 large sofas and a small verandah facing the sea, a bathroom and a new, well-equipped kitchen. The large, private roof terrace overlooks the sea and catches the sun all day long.

Setting

The mature Prainha resort lies just outside Alvor, a fishing village, with many restaurants & bars. Apartments are limited to 2 storeys, separated by cobbled alleyways, squares and well-tended lawns and many flowers, trees and shrubs. There is free parking near to the apartment. The beach is only a few minutes walk away down a path, steps or a lift. The sandy beaches sweep around to below Prainha where high cliffs give spectacular views, as well as huge rock formations in the other direction. The property has unlimited WiFi, some UK satellite channels and some European / International cable channels. There is a laptop pc for guests' use with MS Office. We supply 2 beach towels to save on your packing.

Activities and attractions

The beach is a short walk, there is also a lift for residents which allows travel down to the beach and the Canico restaurant & bar (one of 4 on site) which overlooks the beach. There is a cliff top pool with a bar and restaurant, hotel pool with bar and restaurant, a pasta/pizza restaurant and supermarket on site. The hotel has a newly refurbished health & beauty spa. The hotel can arrange activities such as golf at nearby courses, tennis on site, or cycle & car hire.
