The accommodation

Our studio is right in the city center. 100 meters from São Bento Metro and Train Station, 500 meters from Ribeira and Rio and within walking distance of most of Porto's attractions. The apartment is new and full of all amenities. If you need late check in, please let us know. The location is unique. You will be located 5 minutes away from every important tourist attraction as transports. Next to São Bento metro station and the train station of the same name. You can walk to the best places in Porto: Clerigos Tower, Lello, Ribeira, Sé or Santa Catarina Street.

Setting

The street called Rua de Santa Catarina das Flores was built in 1521 by order of King Manuel. This street, which was completed during a period of economic prosperity and urban expansion, attracted the city's aristocracy who took up residence here and transformed it into one of the busiest commercial streets, to the detriment of Rua dos Mercadores, where trade began to falter thereafter. The street has maintained its original profile and currently boasts interesting civil architecture from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries and one of Porto's most emblematic baroque façades - the Church of Misericórdia, designed by Nicolau Nasoni. It is one of the buzziest streets in the Historical Centre.

After several months of improvement works, Rua das Flores – as it is lovingly called – is now one such street. You will struggle to find a native of Porto who does not enjoy strolling down this street and picking up a thing or two, so this is the perfect place to find a treat for yourself, a friend, or for that special occasion.
Here, you will find a bit of everything. Traders love this newly renovated area, which has gained fresh life and new appeal. You will find stores selling traditional products from all over the country, gourmet food, conserves, cork products, ornamental goods, in addition to jewelry and bijouterie outlets.
