The accommodation

Casa da Tita is a small and cozy countryside guesthouse located in the village of Nave do Barão. It is composed of two apartments, two double rooms and one junior suite, which were restored according to their original outline and constructed with traditional techniques using stone and clay from the region. We provide comfort and commodity for those who seek tranquillity and peace.

The roof terraces and threshing floors, once used for the drying of figs and almonds, gave way to inviting solariums, esplanades, and a infinity pool.

Setting

Located in the central region of the Algarve, about 15 km from the town of Loulé and 25 km from the south coast. The Protected Landscapes of the Rocha da Pena and the Fonte Benémola are the main natural attractions in the surrounding area. The village lies in a valley that is surrounded by verdant hills whilst it takes advantage of the natural environment present in the region’s typical landscape and the Algarve’s pleasant and sunny weather. Here you can enjoy the verdant landscape as well as the mild, sunny weather, typical from the region, and the much pleasant days and nights in the village.

Casa da Tita is located on the municipal road 1184, in the village of Nave do Barão. If you leave Loulé in direction to Salir you will pass the small villages of Andrezes, Vendas Novas da Tôr and Mesquita. After Mesquita look for the T-junction with a road sign indicating Nave do Barão to your left. Follow the sign into the valley until you reach the village. Our establishment is located just after the entrance to the village on the right hand side.

If you are coming from the N124/Messines/Sines exit of the A2 motorway you should follow the road towards Paderne/Salir. After you pass the village of Alte you will reach Benafim, follow the village road until you reach a roundabout and turn right. Follow this road until you reach a T-junction with a road sign indicating Nave do Barão along the left hand side of the road. Follow this road to Nave do Barão, Casa Tita is on the far end of the village.

- Safaris in the region (52 € per adult and 26 € per child).

- Guided walking tours to the Protected Landscapes of Rocha da Pena and Fonte Benémola (20 € per adult and 10 € per child).

- Homemade wine tasting (10 € per adult).

- Traditional farming activities (free).

- Cycling in the surrounding area (free rental).
