The accommodation

The apartments are large and bright two-room apartments, two of which are in the attic. Each two-room apartment has a private bathroom with shower, large double bedroom, well-equipped kitchen with double sofa bed and external balcony with mountain views. The two apartments on the first floor are equipped to accommodate disabled people. Each apartment has free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, clothesline and sheets provided. The laundry room, equipped with washing machine, ironing board and iron, is for common use. A baby kit complete with cot, high chair, bath tub and changing table is also available upon request.
At guests' disposal there is a common outdoor area equipped with tables, swing, deckchairs and umbrella. Free private parking is guaranteed.

Setting

At 1600m there is Bionaz, a small village immersed in the quiet of the mountain, framed by high peaks and immense woods. Characteristic for its uncontaminated nature and its particular, completely natural beauty.

Lexert Lake: a few meters from the property there is a splendid lake surrounded by woods, a well-equipped picnic area and a nature-themed children's playground. Place Moulin Dam, one of the largest dams in Europe: a fascinating 6 km long artificial lake, it is undoubtedly one of the country's major attractions. Montagnayes nature reserve: protected area, where you will find hectares of forest and countless specimens of animals and plants.

Activities and attractions

There are many activities to do immersed in the quiet of nature that this small Alpine village offers, starting from the countless walks of all difficulties: from the simplest walks in the adjacent woods, to the old abandoned mines and to the discovery of the rustic villages of Bionaz, rich in history and traditions.

For lovers of mountain excursions Bionaz is the ideal destination, known for its splendid and numerous valleys. From trekking in alpine refuges such as Prarayer, Crète Sèche, Nacamuli and Aosta where you can enjoy a typical lunch, to trekking in bivouacs or mountain pastures, for an experience of true mountain life. On the various walks you will encounter flora, fauna and suggestive alpine lakes. Perfect base for climbing and mountaineering.

A Nordic Walking Park, with various routes, all well signposted, will allow you to carry out this new and fascinating discipline, ideal for getting in shape by reconciling body and mind.
